What are the brands in Hawker Hall?

Uncle Lim Penang Char Kuey Teow

A generations-old recipe that hails from Penang. Uncle Lim, who is 64 years old, brings his 40 years of experience in selling Penang hawker food. He started his career at Bukit Mertajam, and eventually moved to KL. For 20 years, Uncle Lim operated his stall at Top Kitchen in Bukit Maluri, Kepong.

With all these experiences, he brings with him to Hawker Hall his wonderful Penang varieties such as char kuey teow with fresh sea prawns, cantonese beef noodles, mee mamak, cendol, Nyonya grilled fish, and more to come.

Mama Nasi Lemak

Hawker Hall also houses nasi lemak that has a history. Pak Amin, 55 years old, has been selling nasi lemak at the road side in Cheras for over 20 years. He is popular for for his delicious sambal, and of course who can resist freshly steamed coconut rice. Another reason to try the nasi lemak: Hawker Hall proudly uses premium ikan bilis that comes from Pangkor.

myBurgerLab x Hawker Hall

Proudly presenting our collaboration with a Malaysian brand myBurgerLab to create awesome burgers at Hawker Hall. Expect the MBL signature black charcoal bun along with homemade juicy patties, high quality cheese, secret sauces and lots of heat on the griddle.

Auntiy Annie Laksa

One of the owners’ mother is a Sarawakian native and has a generations-old recipe which was handed down, and now everyone can enjoy a delicious bowl of Sarawak Laksa at this modern place. The stall is called Auntie Annie Laksa, which brings East Malaysian flavours to the diverse menu of Hawker Hall.

Hawker Hall Cafe

You can find local kopitiam favourites such local coffee “kopi”, tea and a wide range of local drinks selections. Hawker Hall is the most ambitious project that the group has worked on. With operation hours from 730am to 1am daily. Enjoy your mornings with the traditional Hainan butter &kaya toast, together with Omega Eggs. Or perhaps opt for modern twists such as kaya croissants and donuts. Proudly serving only premium Australian Butter with all morning favourites.

Hainan Curry Rice

The Hainanese Curry Rice well represented the Nanyang immigrant spirit in the early last century (1900s) in British Malaya. The combination of Hainanese stewed dishes, Peranakan curry and British fried cutlets, giving you the taste of history.

Chatujak Thai Street Food

Another proud addition to Hawker Hall is Chatujak Thai Street Food. One of the owners worked many years in a Thai Restaurant during his university days, and he brings with him his experiences of authentic thai food in a casual setting. A must try: the ever popular stir-fried minced chicken basil leaves, Thai fried rice and many more.

Super Saigon x Hawker Hall

Super Saigon is a dynamic addition to the Malaysian food landscape, with recipes inspired by popular Vietnamese eateries in Melbourne and Ho Chi Minh. Rice, noodles, fresh vegetables and herbs all play big roles in Vietnamese food, making it one of the healthiest cuisines in the world.
